John Wall is moving from the hardwood to the broadcast booth, joining Prime Video’s NBA coverage shortly after confirming his retirement from professional basketball.
The streaming service announced Wall’s addition on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, the same day reports surfaced that the five-time NBA All-Star had ended his playing career. Specific on-air duties and the length of his agreement with Prime Video were not disclosed.
Wall’s hire comes as Amazon continues to build out its “NBA on Prime” lineup ahead of the upcoming season. Further details on Wall’s first appearance are expected in the weeks ahead.
