Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum is expected to return to action just 10 months after suffering a serious Achilles injury, according to a report published Thursday.
The New York Post report states that the All-Star is on track to suit up for Boston in the coming days, completing a recovery that has kept him out since the injury occurred nearly a year ago. No additional timetable details were disclosed.
Tatum’s setback was initially described as “brutal,” and early projections had suggested he might miss the entire 2025-26 campaign. His accelerated progress now gives Boston an unexpected boost as the regular season enters its final stretch.
The Celtics did not immediately comment on the report.
