A witness claims the father of Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown repeatedly slashed a knife at another man after a disagreement about a car door ding, according to a report published Thursday.
The witness told authorities the elder Brown made roughly 25 stabbing motions during the confrontation, the New York Post reported. The alleged attack stemmed from an argument over minor damage to a vehicle door, the account states.
The report did not provide additional details about possible injuries, the location of the incident or whether any charges have been filed. Representatives for Jaylen Brown and local law-enforcement officials have not publicly commented.
