Charlotte Hornets guard Brandon Miller has been ruled out of Tuesday night’s matchup with the Miami Heat due to a left shoulder subluxation, the club confirmed Monday.
The 22-year-old exited Saturday’s 125-121 loss in Philadelphia with 10:50 remaining in the second quarter after injuring the shoulder. Subsequent testing classified the issue as a subluxation. He also missed Sunday’s 139-113 victory in Washington.
The Hornets said Miller will be evaluated again when the team returns to Charlotte on Oct. 29, the day after the three-game road trip ends in Miami.
Miller opened the season by scoring 25 points and handing out seven assists in a win over Brooklyn. Last season, he appeared in only 27 games before a torn ligament in his right wrist ended his rookie campaign.
