Hawks land Jonathan Kuminga, Buddy Hield in exchange for Kristaps Porzingis

The Atlanta Hawks completed a major roster shake-up on February 4, 2026, acquiring forward Jonathan Kuminga and guard Buddy Hield in a trade that sends center Kristaps Porzingis out of Atlanta.
Kuminga arrives from the Golden State Warriors, while Hield also heads to the Hawks as part of the same deal. Porzingis is the lone outgoing piece from Atlanta’s side.
Terms of the agreement were not immediately disclosed, and the trade is pending league approval.
