LOS ANGELES — LA Clippers guard James Harden watched a new outdoor court bearing his image come to life on Monday, Aug. 5, 2025, as part of his annual Adidas UNO Tour in Guangzhou, China.
Organizers removed a rain-soaked tarp to reveal a full-court mural of Harden, designed by artist Yin and based on the tour’s 2025 branding. One sideline carries the slogan “Under No One,” a reference to the tour’s acronym UNO and Harden’s jersey number, 1. The opposite baseline displays the Mandarin phrase 登峰造极, which translates to “climb to the peak.” Harden initially appeared confused by the unveiling before celebrating with raised fists.
“Thank you guys. I know it’s rain, you guys here supporting me, I love you so much,” Harden told the hundreds gathered despite the weather.
Days earlier, thousands filled a Guangzhou mall to meet the 10-time All-Star, who signed pairs of his Adidas signature sneakers and Clippers jerseys. “You guys never cease to amaze me, every time feels like the first time … I just hope you know the love is reciprocated,” Harden wrote later on social media.
Harden has traveled to China each offseason since 2019 to promote new editions of his Adidas line. His 2023 visit drew worldwide attention when, as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers, he criticized team executive Daryl Morey. Harden was traded to the Clippers three months later.
