MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo was held out of Thursday night’s 120–110 victory over the Golden State Warriors because of left knee soreness.

The two-time MVP had been listed as probable throughout the day, but the team ruled him out roughly an hour before tipoff at Fiserv Forum.

The absence marks Antetokounmpo’s first missed game of the 2025-26 season. Through the Bucks’ first five contests, he is averaging 36.3 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists while shooting 69.5% from the field. Milwaukee improved to 4-1 with the win.
