ATLANTA, March 14, 2026 — Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo was ruled out of Saturday’s road meeting with the Atlanta Hawks, marking the 31st contest he has missed during the 2025-26 campaign.
The Bucks’ initial injury report listed the two-time MVP as questionable for “right calf injury management.” Hours later, the team updated his status to out because of a left ankle sprain.
Head coach Doc Rivers told reporters before tipoff that the ankle issue traces back to Thursday night’s 112-105 loss to the Miami Heat.
Saturday’s game begins a back-to-back set for Milwaukee, which returns home to face the Indiana Pacers on Sunday. Antetokounmpo has not appeared on consecutive days since he came back from a right calf strain on March 2.
The 31 absences are the most Antetokounmpo has logged in any of his 13 NBA seasons.
