Nov. 26, 2025 — One month into the NBA season, rotations are settling and several fantasy trends are solidifying. Here is a snapshot of the most notable developments across the league.
Nikola Jokic sets the standard
Denver’s two-time MVP already owns 10 triple-doubles through 17 games, the second-fastest start in league history. Jokic has also produced three games with at least 15 assists, underscoring why he remains fantasy basketball’s top overall asset.
Cade Cunningham’s double-double streak
The Detroit guard has recorded double-doubles in seven straight outings and has reached the 20-point, 10-assist benchmark 10 times this season. His playmaking has fueled a major offensive jump for the Pistons, while center Jalen Duren continues to post routine double-doubles as Cunningham’s pick-and-roll partner.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s scoring tear
Oklahoma City’s star has topped 30 points in 15 of 18 contests and owns a 90-game run of at least 20 points, a streak exceeded only by Wilt Chamberlain. In points-based fantasy formats, Gilgeous-Alexander is performing like the clear 1.01 selection.
Tyrese Maxey fills the scoring void
With Joel Embiid in and out of Philadelphia’s lineup, Maxey is averaging 33.0 points per game, second only to Luka Dončić. The fourth-year guard projects as a top-tier fantasy option for the remainder of the campaign.
Franz Wagner steps up for Orlando
Paolo Banchero’s five-game absence has pushed Wagner’s usage rate to 27.2 percent. The forward has responded with 25.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.0 three-pointers per game during that span, powering the Magic’s offense.
Five emerging storylines
Kel’el Ware dominates the glass
Miami’s second-year center is averaging 15.1 rebounds over his past eight games, leading the league in that stretch while playing 29.2 minutes per night. Ware is also contributing 15.9 points, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 steals, yet he is rostered in only 68.5 percent of ESPN leagues.
De’Aaron Fox finds his stride in San Antonio
With Victor Wembanyama sidelined by a calf injury, Fox has averaged 26.0 points on 50.6 percent shooting (44.1 percent from three) across his last five appearances. The veteran guard’s speed and defense have reignited the Spurs’ backcourt.
Ayo Dosunmu’s scoring uptick
The Chicago guard posted a season-high 28 points against New Orleans and is delivering a career-best 16.4 points per game despite playing only 26.5 minutes. Over his past eight outings he is producing 30.1 fantasy points on modest rebounding (2.6) and assist (3.0) numbers, leaving room for further growth. Dosunmu is rostered in just 17.8 percent of ESPN leagues.
Mikal Bridges extends his ironman streak
Bridges has appeared in 570 consecutive games, one of the longest active runs in NBA history. The Knicks swingman is also averaging a career-high 4.7 assists, 2.4 made threes and elite perimeter defense, ranking 24th in fantasy points per game.
Andre Drummond returns to relevance
Starting in place of the injured Embiid, Drummond grabbed an NBA-season-high 24 rebounds against Miami and has averaged 12.0 points and 14.0 boards in seven starts. He owns six double-doubles during that span and projects as critical insurance even after Embiid’s return.
As the season progresses, managers who act on these trends now could gain a decisive edge in fantasy leagues.
