As the NBA schedule moves into December 2025, shifting rotations are opening spots for players who were largely overlooked earlier in the season. The following waiver-wire options are gaining momentum and could help fantasy managers looking for immediate production.

Point guards

T.J. McConnell, Indiana Pacers (41.5% rostered)
Returning from a hamstring injury on Nov. 11, McConnell has reclaimed his sixth-man role. From Nov. 19-28 he logged 13.0 points, 6.2 assists and 4.0 rebounds in 20.2 minutes per game, scoring in double figures in five of six contests.

Jose Alvarado, New Orleans Pelicans (5.7%)
Alvarado remains a streaky reserve, but a recent two-game burst — 20.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 4.0 threes and 2.0 steals per outing — shows his upside. Even modest production can justify a short-term add.

Shooting guards

Jaylen Wells, Memphis Grizzlies (6.1%)
With Ja Morant sidelined, Wells has taken on extra scoring duties. Over his last three games he averaged 20.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.3 three-pointers and 1.0 steal, topping 20 points twice.

Collin Sexton, Charlotte Hornets (39.3%)
Whether starting or coming off the bench, Sexton has reached double-digit scoring in every game but one. Across his past 12 outings he posted 16.3 points, 4.0 assists and 1.3 threes in 26.8 minutes.

Small forwards

Saddiq Bey, New Orleans Pelicans (27.0%)
Usually in the starting lineup, Bey has been a reliable 20-point contributor. Last week he delivered three consecutive double-doubles, averaging 18.7 points, 11.3 rebounds and 2.7 threes.

Cameron Johnson, Denver Nuggets (33.5%)
Acquired for Michael Porter Jr. during the offseason, Johnson has rediscovered his shooting touch. In his last four games he averaged 20.3 points and 4.0 threes, projecting to consistent mid-teens scoring with multiple triples going forward.

Julian Champagnie, San Antonio Spurs (12.1%)
Filling in for the injured Stephon Castle, Champagnie is logging more than 30 minutes as a starter and showing 20-point potential. Three-point volume keeps him fantasy-relevant as long as the role holds.

Power forwards

Noah Clowney, Brooklyn Nets (11.6%)
Before a hip issue, Clowney enjoyed one of the best stretches of his career: 17.9 points, 3.0 threes, 1.4 blocks and 1.1 steals over eight games. Listed as probable for Monday, he remains a versatile category-league option.

Centers

Jay Huff, Indiana Pacers (8.1%)
Huff has posted double-figure scoring in four straight games and regained a starting spot. In three starts he is averaging 12.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.7 blocks, offering double-double potential with significant shot-blocking.

Neemias Queta, Boston Celtics (24.6%)
Though managing an ankle injury, Queta owns double-doubles in each of his last full appearances and is coming off a 19-point, 18-rebound, two-block effort. When healthy, he supplies dependable boards and interior scoring.
