Former Chicago Bulls guard Randy Brown is working behind the scenes to mend the fractured relationship between Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, according to a New York Post report published on November 14, 2025.
The Post says Brown has been contacting both Hall-of-Famers in hopes of easing the strain that intensified after the 2020 release of the documentary series “The Last Dance.” The 10-part program revisited the Bulls’ 1990s dynasty and, in the process, reignited long-standing grievances between the two superstars.
Brown, who played alongside Jordan and Pippen during Chicago’s final three championship seasons from 1996 to 1998, told the newspaper he plans to keep talking with each man separately until he can bring them together. The report does not indicate whether either Jordan or Pippen has agreed to meet, but Brown said he remains determined to facilitate a reconciliation.
Pippen has publicly criticized the way he was depicted in “The Last Dance,” claiming the film gave outsized credit to Jordan and downplayed the contributions of the rest of the roster. Jordan has largely stayed silent on the rift.
Brown said their shared history, which includes six NBA titles and one of the league’s most celebrated runs, is too significant to leave unresolved, according to the Post.
