The Oklahoma City Thunder presented their 2025-26 City Edition uniforms on Thursday, highlighting the Native and Indigenous cultures that shape the state.
Released Aug. 21, 2025, the new look will appear for the first time on Nov. 19, when the defending NBA champions host the Sacramento Kings during the franchise’s annual Native American Heritage Night.
Oklahoma, historically home to 67 American Indian tribes, inspired multiple design elements. A darker turquoise base recalls the team’s 2018-19 City Edition jersey, with interlocking geometric shapes forming “OKC” across the chest. Diagonal, river-like teeth link the jersey’s two primary colors in reference to the Oklahoma River.
Additional details include expanding square patterns on the waistband, a hidden turtle emblem on the right leg of the shorts, and 11 geometric stars running down the sides of the uniform—symbols the club says convey stories passed through generations. A sunset-colored sash stretches from the shoulder to the shorts leg, honoring the resilience of the state’s tribes.
The uniform will be paired with an alternate court created for “city night” theme games. Beginning Dec. 5, every Friday home date will carry that designation, with the Thunder wearing the new attire alongside the special floor.
