The injury-plagued Denver Nuggets will have starters Christian Braun and Aaron Gordon available when they visit the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026.
Braun returns to the lineup after missing 23 games with an ankle injury and will start at shooting guard. Gordon, sidelined for the past 19 contests by a strained hamstring, will come off the bench. Both players will be on a minutes restriction, the team said.
Denver has been forced to patch together rotations in recent weeks, finishing its last two games without four regular starters. Center Nikola Jokic, forward Cameron Johnson and reserve big man Jonas Valanciunas remain out and are expected to miss several more weeks.
Sunday’s matchup at Barclays Center will also reunite Denver with former longtime teammate Michael Porter Jr. The Nets forward sat out Brooklyn’s previous two games because of illness but is cleared to play against his old club.
