Cade Cunningham will miss the Detroit Pistons’ home game against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night because of a wrist contusion, the team announced.

The All-Star point guard was initially listed as “probable” on Tuesday, downgraded to “questionable” Wednesday afternoon, and ruled out shortly before tipoff at Little Caesars Arena.

Cunningham, 24, is averaging 26.7 points, 9.7 assists and 6.2 rebounds for Detroit. The Pistons lead the Eastern Conference at 27-9, just two seasons after finishing 14-68 and enduring an NBA-record 28-game losing streak.

Detroit will also be without starting center Jalen Duren (ankle) and forward Tobias Harris (hip). Chicago guard Coby White (calf) is sidelined for the Bulls.
