Cam Thomas released by Bucks, extending turbulent season

Milwaukee — The Milwaukee Bucks placed guard Cam Thomas on waivers Monday, less than a season after his contentious split with the Brooklyn Nets.
Thomas, 24, joined the Bucks earlier this year following an acrimonious exit from Brooklyn. His departure from Milwaukee marks the second abrupt roster change he has experienced during what has become a rocky 2025-26 campaign.
The Bucks did not immediately announce a corresponding roster move. Thomas will clear waivers in 48 hours unless claimed by another club.
