Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham has agreed to a new six-year endorsement contract with Nike that will give him his own signature shoe, Excel Sports Management told ESPN on Monday.
The agreement keeps the 24-year-old with the Swoosh through the 2031–32 NBA season. According to his representatives, the first Cunningham signature model is scheduled to hit the court during the second half of the 2026-27 campaign.
With the deal, Cunningham becomes the sixth active NBA player to secure a Nike signature line, joining LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Ja Morant, Devin Booker and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The former No. 1 overall pick is building on his 2024-25 breakout—when he earned his first All-Star selection and a spot on the All-NBA third team—by averaging career bests of 27.5 points, 9.9 assists and 1.4 steals, along with 5.4 rebounds this season.
Detroit has won nine straight games and sits atop the Eastern Conference at 11-2 under coach J.B. Bickerstaff, buoyed by Cunningham’s production and the emergence of center Jalen Duren and a deep rotation.
Cunningham entered the league as the first pick in the 2021 draft.
