The Chicago Bulls will be without three key contributors as the calendar turns to 2026.

The club said Wednesday that guard Josh Giddey strained his left hamstring and will be reevaluated in two weeks. Fellow starter Coby White is dealing with tightness in his right calf and will be checked again in one week, while backup center Zach Collins has a sprained right toe and will be reassessed in 10 days.

ESPN previously reported Tuesday that Giddey was expected to miss “at least a few weeks,” creating a major hole in Chicago’s backcourt. Giddey, 23, is in the midst of his best NBA season, averaging 19.2 points, 9.0 assists and 8.9 rebounds.

White, averaging 19.2 points on 45% shooting, had only recently returned after missing the season’s opening weeks with a calf strain sustained in August. Collins, who missed the start of the season recovering from a broken left wrist, has appeared in 10 games, contributing 9.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per contest.

The Bulls (15-17) have followed a five-game December winning streak with consecutive losses and face five games in the next seven days, beginning Wednesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans.
