The NBA has rescheduled last week’s postponed matchup between the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat, creating a grueling run of four games in five nights for both clubs later this month.
The game that was called off because of a slick court in Chicago will now be played at the United Center on Jan. 29. Miami was originally slated to host Chicago on Jan. 30 and Feb. 1; those meetings have been shifted to Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 at Kaseya Center.
The adjustment means the Bulls and Heat will face each other three straight times, beginning in Chicago and concluding with back-to-back contests in Miami.
Chicago’s compressed stretch starts with a road game against the Indiana Pacers on Jan. 28, followed by the rescheduled home date with Miami and the two road games in South Florida.
Miami begins its run by welcoming the Orlando Magic on Jan. 28 before turning its attention to the three-game series against Chicago.
