Chicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey will be sidelined for at least a few weeks after straining his left hamstring, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The 23-year-old left early in the second half of Monday night’s 136-101 home loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on December 30, 2025. He walked to the locker room under his own power but did not return.
The injury halts a standout season for Giddey, who is averaging a career-best 19.2 points, 9.0 assists and 8.9 rebounds per game.
Chicago also lost its leading scorer, Coby White (20.5 ppg), to a right calf strain in the same game. The Bulls have not provided an update on White’s status.
No timetable was given for Giddey’s return beyond “at least a few weeks.” Further evaluation and treatment plans are expected in the coming days.
