The Knicks spent much of the night chasing the scoreboard, but Brunson’s clutch play down the stretch wiped out the deficit and put New York in front for good. His late surge capped what team observers described as a “crazy” turnaround.
Despite an uneven performance marked by cold shooting and turnovers, the Knicks managed to leave the floor with the win, thanks largely to Brunson’s decisive fourth-quarter burst.
