Former NBA star Allen Iverson says he has been sober for six months after deciding to stop drinking earlier this year.
Iverson discussed the milestone, and the personal reasons that led him to give up alcohol, in an interview published Thursday, Oct. 8, by the New York Post. He described the choice as a significant step toward improving his life and well-being.
The 11-time All-Star said reaching the half-year mark without alcohol is an important personal achievement and indicated he intends to continue on a sober path.
