The league did not immediately disclose Silver’s specific reaction or whether the arrangement will prompt a formal review under NBA gaming and sponsorship rules. The commissioner has previously said the NBA evaluates all player business ventures that involve companies operating in or adjacent to the wagering space.
Financial terms of Antetokounmpo’s agreement with Kalshi were not released, and representatives for the two-time MVP have declined to comment on the scope of the collaboration.
