Oklahoma City Thunder guard Alex Caruso has entered the NBA’s concussion protocol after sustaining a head injury in Tuesday night’s double-overtime win over the Houston Rockets.
The league’s protocol requires the 30-year-old guard to complete a series of symptom-free benchmarks and receive medical clearance before he can resume basketball activities.
Caruso logged 30 minutes in the 125-124 victory, finishing with eight points, three assists and two rebounds.
Oklahoma City’s next game is Thursday against the Indiana Pacers, with tipoff set for 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
