USA Basketball on Friday released the 12 players who will represent the United States at the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup, scheduled for August 22–31 in Managua, Nicaragua.

Eight members of the squad have logged NBA time, led by Galloway (452 regular-season games) and Grant (279). Pemberton, Smith, Baker and Auguste are the only players who have yet to appear in an NBA regular-season contest.
The roster also brings previous international experience. Galloway, Pemberton, Ramsey, Smart, Cavanaugh, Reynolds and Baker have suited up for the United States in past AmeriCup or World Cup qualifying windows, while Pemberton earned a bronze medal at the 2022 AmeriCup.
Former Houston Rockets head coach Stephen Silas will guide the team, assisted by veteran NBA coaches Patrick Mutombo and Brad Jones.

Drawn into Group A, the United States will face Brazil, Uruguay and the Bahamas in round-robin play from August 23–26. Group B consists of Canada, Venezuela, Panama and Puerto Rico, while Group C features Argentina, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and host Nicaragua.
The top eight of the 12 participating teams advance to a single-elimination bracket. Quarterfinals are set for August 28, semifinals for August 30, and both the championship and third-place games for August 31.
