The Cleveland Cavaliers brought in undrafted rookie guard Zeke Mayo on an Exhibit 10 contract the morning of Oct. 18, 2025, and released him later that day, the NBA’s transaction log shows.

By waiving the 6-foot-4 guard, Cleveland cleared a path for Mayo to join the Cleveland Charge, the organization’s G League affiliate. If he stays with the Charge for at least 60 days, the Exhibit 10 agreement allows him to collect a bonus of up to $85,300.

Mayo declared for the draft after one season at Kansas, where he averaged 14.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists while connecting on 42.2 percent of his three-point attempts. He closed his college career with 18 points and six rebounds in the Jayhawks’ first-round NCAA Tournament loss to Arkansas.

Prior to his stint in Lawrence, Mayo spent three seasons at South Dakota State and was named Summit League Player of the Year in 2024. He also appeared with the Washington Wizards’ entry in the 2025 NBA Summer League.
