The Minnesota Timberwolves have waived forward Nate Santos, according to the NBA.com transaction log.

Santos, 23, had joined Minnesota on an Exhibit 10 contract just two days earlier. The 6-foot-7 wing appeared in four Summer League games with the Orlando Magic after going undrafted in June, averaging 1.3 points and 1.5 rebounds across 10.4 minutes per contest.

Before turning professional, Santos spent two seasons at Dayton following an initial stint at Pittsburgh. As a senior with the Flyers, he posted 14.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game while shooting 41.8% from three-point range.

By clearing waivers, Santos becomes eligible for a bonus of up to $85,300 if he remains with the Timberwolves’ G League affiliate, the Iowa Wolves, for at least 60 days.
