FC Barcelona has signed 25-year-old forward Tosan Evbuomwan to a two-year contract, the Spanish club announced on Tuesday.
The move sends the 6-foot-8 swingman overseas for the first time after parts of three seasons in the NBA. Evbuomwan appeared in five games with the New York Knicks last season under a two-way agreement before being waived on January 7. One month later, he accepted a two-way deal with the Charlotte Hornets but did not make an NBA appearance.
Charlotte released Evbuomwan earlier this month, making him a free agent despite having another season left on his two-way pact.
The Princeton product entered the league in 2023-24, logging four games with the Memphis Grizzlies and 13 with the Detroit Pistons. He added 28 games for the Brooklyn Nets in 2024-25.
Evbuomwan was instrumental in the Greensboro Swarm’s G League championship run in April, earning Finals MVP honors after posting 22 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals in the title-clinching contest.
Barcelona has also reached deals this month with NBA veterans Tyrese Martin and Stanley Umude.
