LOS ANGELES — Peter Suder, an undrafted prospect vying for a roster spot with the Los Angeles Lakers, says he embraces every competitive moment as he tries to prove he belongs in the NBA.
The 22-year-old guard, who was not selected in the 2026 draft, is participating in the Lakers’ offseason program and hopes to become the franchise’s next undrafted success story. Suder told the New York Post he “cherishes competition” and welcomes the nightly challenge of facing established professionals while fighting for a contract.
Team officials have not announced any decisions on Suder’s future, but his work ethic and on-court intensity are drawing internal attention as the Lakers evaluate options ahead of training camp.
