The Brooklyn Nets are not expected to begin contract-extension negotiations with forward Michael Porter Jr. anytime soon, according to a report published July 14.
The New York Post noted that team executives have no immediate plans to meet with Porter’s representatives and are comfortable delaying formal discussions.
No timetable has been set for when, or if, extension talks will start.
