Bulls

Chicago executives say the atmosphere around the franchise has shifted dramatically since Bryson Graham took over basketball operations. Team staffers told ESPN that employees now feel included in discussions on the draft, free agency and coaching decisions—areas where they previously believed their opinions carried little weight.

Graham emphasized that collaboration will drive his leadership. “I’m not trying to come in and overcorrect,” he said. “I’m just leading in the way that I believe is the proper way to lead.” The Bulls are coming off another disappointing season and hope a unified front office can deliver clearer direction.

Spurs

San Antonio has withdrawn its qualifying offer to forward Harrison Ingram, making the 2024 second-round pick an unrestricted free agent. Ingram, 21, spent the past two seasons on two-way contracts, appearing in 12 NBA games while primarily suiting up for the G League’s Austin Spurs. He averaged 16.6 points, 12.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists in the G League last year.

The Spurs could still bring him back, including on another two-way deal, but all three of the club’s two-way slots are currently occupied.

Team USA

Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault, Pistons head coach J.B. Bickerstaff and Gonzaga’s Mark Few are expected to serve as assistants under head coach Erik Spoelstra for the United States men’s national team, according to ESPN. Spoelstra was appointed last fall and will guide the Americans at the 2027 FIBA World Cup and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Daigneault recently steered Oklahoma City to an NBA championship, while Bickerstaff’s Pistons posted a 60-win campaign. Few adds extensive international experience after working on Steve Kerr’s 2024 Olympic staff.
