Brooklyn — On Sept. 23, 2025, Michael Porter Jr. said he is prepared for the “growing pains” that could accompany his new role with the Brooklyn Nets, the move to New York City and plans to overhaul his personal podcast.
Porter Jr. acknowledged that joining a different roster and adapting to a new system will take time, but he expressed confidence that both he and the Nets will adjust as the season progresses. Off the court, he noted that living in New York offers fresh opportunities and that his podcast will be retooled to reflect his new environment.
His comments came as the Nets readied for training camp ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season.
