DaQuan Jeffries Heads to Turkey, Signs With Besiktas

Besiktas has added swingman DaQuan Jeffries to its roster, the Turkish club announced in a press release distributed on Wednesday. The move places the 27-year-old with the EuroLeague newcomer for the 2026-27 campaign.
Jeffries spent last season in the Sacramento Kings system, starring for the G League’s Stockton Kings. Across 35 regular-season games, he averaged 21.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.1 steals while logging 32 minutes per night, performances that earned him All-NBA G League First Team honors and a third-place finish in the league’s Most Valuable Player voting.
Sacramento brought Jeffries up on a 10-day hardship contract in late March. He appeared in three NBA games during that stint, contributing 10.3 points over 20 minutes per contest.
The previous year, the 6-foot-5 guard/forward saw action in 47 games, including 20 starts, with the Charlotte Hornets. He averaged 6.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 22.8 minutes. Earlier stops in his NBA career include Houston, Memphis and New York after beginning his professional journey with two seasons in Sacramento.
