Pelicans Bring Back Center Hunter Dickinson on Two-Way Contract

The New Orleans Pelicans have re-signed center Hunter Dickinson to a two-way contract, according to the NBA’s official transactions log.
Dickinson, 25, entered free agency as a restricted free agent after the club extended a two-way qualifying offer. The undrafted former Michigan and Kansas standout appeared in five NBA games during his rookie season.
He spent most of last season with the Pelicans’ G League affiliate, the Birmingham Squadron, averaging 17.6 points, 11.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists across 44 games while playing 30.3 minutes per contest.
With Dickinson signed, New Orleans still has two open two-way slots. Players on two-way contracts are set to earn $678,882 in the 2026-27 season and can be active for up to 50 regular-season games.
