The NBA’s annual July moratorium ended Tuesday, July 7 2026, allowing clubs to formally register the agreements reached since the conclusion of the Finals.
Trades
Los Angeles Lakers / Washington Wizards: The Lakers sent center Deandre Ayton to Washington in exchange for guard Jaden Hardy and two second-round draft picks.
Free-Agent Signings
Washington Wizards: Guard Trae Young signed a four-year contract that includes a 7.5 percent trade kicker.
Cleveland Cavaliers: Center Thomas Bryant agreed to a one-year deal.
Phoenix Suns: Center Mark Williams inked a three-year contract; guard Jordan Goodwin signed for three years; guard Collin Gillespie secured a four-year agreement.
Sacramento Kings: Forward Precious Achiuwa finalized a two-year pact.
Utah Jazz: Rookie guard Trey Alexander accepted a two-way contract.
Los Angeles Clippers: Guard Kobe Sanders agreed to a four-year deal.
Philadelphia 76ers: Guard Duke Miles joined on an Exhibit 10 contract.
Los Angeles Lakers: Forward Sandro Mamukelashvili and guard Quentin Grimes each signed four-year contracts.
The NBA is expected to announce additional completed transactions throughout the day as paperwork is filed with the league office.
