The Brooklyn Nets remain active on the offseason front office market, the Philadelphia 76ers have locked in center Adem Bona’s future salary, and the Phoenix Suns have completed their two-way roster by bringing back guard Koby Brea.

Nets Keep Tabs on Peyton Watson

The Nets are still monitoring restricted free agent Peyton Watson, according to Brian Lewis of the New York Post. Denver extended the 22-year-old a qualifying offer, giving the Nuggets the right to match any offer sheet he signs. League reports indicate Watson is seeking a deal worth roughly $25 million annually.

Should Denver decide against meeting that figure, a sign-and-trade remains a possibility. Brooklyn owns additional future first-round picks and maintains salary-cap flexibility after revamping much of its roster earlier in the summer, positioning the club to pursue further upgrades.

Sixers Guarantee Bona’s 2026-27 Salary

The 76ers will keep Adem Bona beyond Tuesday’s deadline, guaranteeing his $2.3 million salary for the 2026-27 season, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice reported. The 22-year-old center appeared in 71 games last season, starting 18, and averaged 4.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks.

With veteran Andre Drummond now in New York, Bona is expected to battle newcomer Ariel Hukporti for reserve minutes behind Joel Embiid. Philadelphia also holds a team option for 2027-28 and can open extension talks with Bona later this month.

Suns Re-Sign Koby Brea on Two-Way Deal

The Suns have re-signed Koby Brea to a two-way contract. ESPN’s Shams Charania first reported the agreement, while Dana Gauruder of Hoops Rumors noted that Brea likely accepted the qualifying offer Phoenix issued in June.

A second-round pick in 2023, Brea saw action in 12 NBA games as a rookie and averaged 16.4 points for the G League Valley Suns. The Kentucky product’s perimeter shooting earned him national attention in college, and his return fills Phoenix’s final two-way slot.
