The Philadelphia 76ers have expanded their training-camp roster, announcing the addition of forward Emoni Bates, guard Kennedy Chandler, swingman Malcolm Hill and guard/forward Jaylen Martin on Exhibit 10 agreements.
Bates, 21, was selected 49th overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2023 draft. The 6-foot-10 forward spent the past two years on two-way deals with Cleveland, appearing in 25 NBA games and averaging 3.1 points and 0.8 rebounds.
Chandler, a 6-foot guard, played 36 games for the Memphis Grizzlies as a rookie during the 2022-23 season. He later logged G League minutes with the Memphis Hustle, Long Island Nets and Raptors 905.
Hill, 28, has totaled 24 NBA appearances with the Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls. Last season he signed a 10-day contract with the New Orleans Pelicans and spent most of the 2024-25 campaign with their G League affiliate in Birmingham.
Martin divided his rookie year between the Brooklyn Nets and Washington Wizards on two-way contracts. The 6-5 wing saw action in 16 NBA games, averaging 4.9 points and 2.8 rebounds.
Philadelphia already has forward Igor Milicic on an Exhibit 10 deal, and center Izan Almansa is expected to finalize a similar contract. Exhibit 10 agreements can be converted to two-way deals and include a bonus of up to $85,300 for players who are waived and then spend at least 60 days with the Delaware Blue Coats, the 76ers’ G League affiliate.
