The Phoenix Suns have reached an agreement to acquire forward Miles Bridges from the Charlotte Hornets, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported.
Under the terms of the deal, Phoenix will receive Bridges, a 2029 first-round draft pick and a 2027 second-round pick. Charlotte will obtain guards Grayson Allen and Royce O’Neale along with an unprotected 2033 first-round pick.
According to Charania, the move trims roughly $20 million in luxury-tax obligations for the Suns and opens one roster slot ahead of free agency. Bridges, 28, gives Phoenix a starting-level forward the organization had pursued for several seasons as the club continues retooling in pursuit of a playoff return.
For the Hornets, Allen and O’Neale bring veteran experience to a roster that has undergone extensive offseason changes, while the distant first-round selection could hold significant future value.
No additional terms were announced.
