The Charlotte Hornets are moving forward Miles Bridges to the Phoenix Suns in a multi-asset trade agreed to on Thursday, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Charlotte will send Bridges, a 2029 first-round pick and a 2027 second-round pick to Phoenix. In return, the Hornets receive guards Grayson Allen and Royce O’Neale along with the Suns’ unprotected 2033 first-round selection.

The 2029 first-rounder heading to Phoenix will be the least favorable of Utah’s, Minnesota’s or Cleveland’s picks and carries top-five protection, reports Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints. The 2027 second-rounder going to the Suns will be the least favorable of Boston’s or Orlando’s picks, Siegel adds.

Bridges, 28, has been a long-time target for Phoenix. Owner Mat Ishbia and several members of the organization share Michigan State ties with the forward, and the Suns had previously attempted to acquire him on multiple occasions.

The deal cannot become official until league offices process the paperwork and all players pass physicals.
