The Utah Jazz are set to bring in former University of Florida big man Micah Handlogten on an Exhibit 10 contract, the Gators men’s basketball program announced on social media.

Handlogten, a 7-foot-1 center, opened his collegiate career at Marshall in 2022-23 before transferring to Florida, where he played three seasons and helped the Gators capture the 2025 national championship.

He started every game as a sophomore, then shifted to a reserve role after the arrival of fellow front-court player Rueben Chinyelu. As a senior during the 2025-26 campaign, Handlogten averaged 4.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 14.8 minutes across 34 games.

Signing with Utah continues a family connection to the franchise. His father, Ben Handlogten, went undrafted in 1996, spent several seasons overseas, and later appeared in 38 regular-season contests for the Jazz from 2003 to 2005.

An Exhibit 10 agreement is a non-guaranteed training-camp contract that can be converted into a two-way deal before the regular season. If the player is waived and then remains with the club’s G League affiliate for at least 60 days, he becomes eligible for a bonus of up to $91,000.
