The New Orleans Pelicans have reached an Exhibit 10 agreement with unrestricted free agent forward Chris Bell, according to Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.
Bell, 6’7”, spent three seasons at Syracuse before transferring to California for his senior year. In 2025-26, the 23-year-old averaged 14.2 points while hitting 40.0% of his 5.6 three-point attempts per game. He finished his college career as a 38.6% shooter from long range.
Although Bell contributed modestly in rebounds and assists, his perimeter accuracy drew NBA interest despite being left off ESPN analyst Jeremy Woo’s final draft big board.
The Exhibit 10 clause allows New Orleans to convert the deal to a two-way contract. If Bell is waived before opening night, he can still collect a bonus of up to $91,000 by spending at least 60 days with the Pelicans’ G League affiliate, the Laketown Squadron.
