Street vendors selling unlicensed New York Knicks merchandise reported brisk business during Thursday’s ticker-tape parade in New York City, with one seller saying sales had already topped $10,000 by mid-morning.

“Passed $10K this morning,” the vendor told the New York Post while handling a steady stream of cash purchases along the parade route.

Knicks fans lining the streets snapped up the bootleg gear as confetti rained down in celebration of the team’s championship run. The unofficial items—ranging from T-shirts to caps—were being sold just steps away from official NBA merchandise stands.

City officials did not immediately comment on the unauthorized sales, which are common at major sports celebrations despite periodic crackdowns by law enforcement.
