The Detroit Pistons hold the No. 21 pick in next week’s NBA Draft and are expected to focus on shooting and wing depth, the Detroit Free Press reports. Possible targets in that range include Baylor guard Cameron Carr and Duke forward Isaiah Evans. If the front office prioritizes a secondary ball-handler, Iowa’s Bennett Stirtz or Texas Tech’s Christian Anderson are options. Washington’s Hannes Steinbach and Santa Clara’s Allen Graves are considered candidates should Detroit seek additional power-forward depth.
The Cleveland Cavaliers hosted six prospects for a pre-draft workout on Wednesday. The session featured Jaden Bradley (Arizona), Skyy Clark (UCLA), Tae Davis (Oklahoma), Tucker DeVries (Indiana), Chaze Harris (South Alabama) and Jackson Paveletzke (Ohio). Bradley topped the group and is ranked No. 38 on ESPN’s Best Available list.
In Indiana, centers Micah Potter and Jay Huff may battle for the backup role behind Ivica Zubac next season. Potter is on a non-guaranteed contract with a club option, while Huff has a partial guarantee for 2026-27.
The Chicago Bulls enter the offseason with a new front office, a new coaching staff, a high lottery pick and the ability to create significant salary-cap room. Management is exploring ways to use that flexibility before the 2026-27 campaign begins.
