NEW YORK — ESPN has refreshed the responsible-gambling information displayed on its websites and mobile products, adding state-specific helplines, age requirements and tax details for users who wager through partner sportsbooks.

The updated notice lists national and regional hotlines, including 1-800-GAMBLER, 1-800-MY-RESET, (800) 327-5050 in Massachusetts, and the text line HOPENY (467369) in New York. Additional contacts include 888-789-7777 or ccpg.org for Connecticut, mdgamblinghelp.org for Maryland, and 1-800-981-0023 in Puerto Rico.

The policy reiterates that wagering is restricted to individuals 21 and older in most U.S. jurisdictions, with 18-plus rules applying in the District of Columbia, Kentucky, New Hampshire, Puerto Rico and Wyoming. Betting remains prohibited in Ontario.

ESPN’s gambling content is offered in partnership with DraftKings, whose full terms appear at draftkings.com/sportsbook. Bets placed through the platform may be subject to a pass-through wager tax in Illinois, and transactions are processed on behalf of Boot Hill Casino in Kansas.

The revised statement, carrying a 2026 copyright notice for ESPN Enterprises, also directs users to the company’s privacy policies, advertising standards and contact channels for corrections or employment opportunities.
