New York Knicks head coach Mike Brown arrived at the team’s Tarrytown, N.Y., facility on Sept. 20 determined to focus on three specific priorities as the club begins what insiders have labeled a “Finals-or-bust” campaign.
Brown did not disclose details publicly on Day 1, but a team source said his checklist was outlined to players during morning meetings. The veteran coach is expected to reinforce those objectives throughout camp while preparing the roster for an Eastern Conference title run.
The Knicks open the preseason schedule next week, giving Brown limited time to instill his plan before the Oct. regular-season tip-off.
