Emmy-winning actress Mariska Hargitay dashed out of her Broadway performance on Tuesday night, June 11, to catch Game 4 of the New York Knicks’ playoff series, calling the dramatic finish the “greatest night of my life.”
According to the production team, Hargitay took her final bow at a Manhattan theater and immediately rushed to Madison Square Garden, arriving in time to see the Knicks complete what fans described as a miracle comeback. The “Law & Order: SVU” star was later seen celebrating in the stands.
While Hargitay did not reveal how she traveled between the theater and the arena, she told reporters on the concourse that witnessing the late-game heroics was worth every second of the sprint. “I wouldn’t have missed this for the world,” she said.
The Knicks’ victory evened the best-of-seven series at 2-2 heading into Game 5.
