Former Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin says Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns have dramatically altered the trajectory of the New York franchise.
In comments published Monday, June 9, 2026, Lin told the New York Post that the two stars have “transformed” the Knicks with their complementary skills and leadership. He pointed to Brunson’s control of the offense and Towns’ inside-outside scoring as the foundation of the team’s recent rise, according to the report.
Lin, whose 2012 “Linsanity” run became a cultural phenomenon at Madison Square Garden, praised the duo for bringing renewed energy to the arena he once electrified. The Harvard product last appeared in an NBA game in 2019 but continues to follow the league closely.
No additional details of Lin’s remarks were released.
