Oklahoma City Thunder

The Thunder will be without guard Ajay Mitchell when they face the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 on Sunday. The rookie suffered a strained right calf after colliding with Spurs first-year guard Stephon Castle during Friday’s contest and did not return. Mitchell had started in place of Jalen Williams, who remains questionable because of left hamstring soreness.

Head coach Mark Daigneault declined to provide additional details, saying only, “I know, but I’m not giving an update on it.” If Williams is also unable to play, Cason Wallace is expected to shift into the starting lineup.

San Antonio Spurs

San Antonio expects both De’Aaron Fox and Dylan Harper to be available despite lingering leg injuries. Fox, still managing a high ankle sprain, re-entered the lineup in Game 3 and briefly appeared to aggravate the ankle when Oklahoma City’s Luguentz Dort slid into his leg in the second half.

“Once the pain subsides for a little bit, I felt like I was fine,” Fox said, according to the San Antonio Express-News.

Harper continues to deal with an adductor issue sustained in Game 2 and was limited to six points on Friday. Even so, the organization’s larger focus remains on 22-year-old star Victor Wembanyama, who noted he must “make my teammates better” after consecutive defeats. Head coach Mitch Johnson also highlighted Oklahoma City’s 12–attempt free-throw edge by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as a key factor in Game 3.

Boston Celtics

Former Celtics standout Isaiah Thomas has joined Boston’s front office as a scout, a move he described on the Point Game podcast as “an important first step” toward an eventual executive career. Thomas represented the team at last week’s draft combine in Chicago, participating in player interviews and evaluations.

Meanwhile, speculation linking Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo to Boston persists. MassLive’s Brian Robb reported the Celtics could consider trading depth pieces such as Sam Hauser, Baylor Scheierman or Jordan Walsh this summer. The Boston Globe’s Chad Finn added that Boston should weigh including Jaylen Brown in any potential blockbuster, though it remains unclear whether Milwaukee would seriously entertain such offers.
