A fresh tribute to the Bryant family now adorns Magnolia Boulevard in Burbank, where a new mural places Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic between images of the late Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant.

The artwork, located on the outside wall of The Morrison restaurant, was first shared publicly on Sept. 14, 2025, in a post by the Twitter account @LukaUpdates. In the center of the mural, Doncic is depicted wearing the Lakers’ gold home jersey. To his left, a painted rendering shows him exchanging a courtside handshake with Kobe during the Lakers–Mavericks game on Dec. 29, 2019 at Staples Center. On the right panel, Doncic is pictured taking a photo with Gianna.

The installation adds to the growing number of public tributes to the Bryants that have appeared around greater Los Angeles since Kobe and Gianna died in a helicopter accident in 2020. The five-time NBA champion remains a city icon, honored for both his on-court accomplishments and his commitment to the community.

Doncic has publicly expressed admiration for Bryant and previously contributed $5,000 to restore a vandalized downtown artwork titled “Mambas Forever.” That mural sits at 14th Street and Main Street in Los Angeles and was fully funded after Doncic’s donation covered the entire GoFundMe goal.

The city’s mural scene continues to expand; a separate piece depicting Bryant in a Los Angeles Dodgers jersey appeared elsewhere in L.A. last month.
