The Chicago Bulls are set to bring former NBA lottery pick Acie Law IV into their front office as vice president of player personnel, according to a report from Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
The move marks the first significant front-office addition since Chicago named Bryson Graham executive vice president of basketball operations. Graham and Law were college teammates at Texas A&M during the 2006-07 season.
From the court to the front office
Law, selected 11th overall in the 2007 NBA Draft, appeared in 188 games for the Hawks, Warriors, Hornets (then the Bobcats), Bulls, and Grizzlies between 2007 and 2011. The guard averaged 3.9 points and 1.6 assists in 12.7 minutes per contest.
After his NBA tenure, Law played overseas, capturing two EuroLeague championships before transitioning to scouting. He joined the Sacramento Kings as a scout in 2018, spending four seasons with the organization.
Law moved to the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2022 as director of amateur scouting and was part of the franchise’s 2025 championship run. He then accepted the role of director of player personnel with the Brooklyn Nets for the 2025-26 season.
Leaving Brooklyn to reunite with Graham, Law will now oversee player personnel decisions for the Bulls as the organization continues reshaping its basketball operations department.
