The New York Knicks are on the verge of finishing a playoff sweep of the Philadelphia 76ers for the first time in 37 years.
The last time New York eliminated Philadelphia without dropping a game came in 1989. Now, with a 3–0 advantage in their best-of-seven series, the Knicks need just one more victory to recreate that long-dormant milestone.
A win in Game 4 would close out the series and move New York into the next round of the NBA postseason, while also marking the franchise’s first sweep of any opponent since the 2020s.
The 76ers must win four straight to avoid elimination and force a deciding Game 7, a comeback no team has achieved against the Knicks in franchise history.
Tip-off for Game 4 is set for Saturday night.
